Open Water Diver – Learn How to Dive

Why PADI Open Water?

As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional.

What do I need to start?

• Minimum age: 12

• Complete your PADI eLearning online prior to practical sessions

• Complete the diving medical questionnaire and seek medical clearance if required

What will I do?

Throughout the course, you’ll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing:

• Knowledge development review

• Pool diving session

• Four open water dives

How long will it take?

PADI programs are performance-based. You proceed as you demonstrate mastery of the course skills, allowing you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you. Generally, the course is run over 3 days or 2 weekends.

What will I need?

• PADI Open Water eLearning (supplied by us)

• Dive medical questionnaire

• Towel, sunscreen and swimmers

What will it cost?

$795 per person

Includes:

• Full theory tuition with PADI eLearning

• Gear hire

• Logbook

• All practical training

• 1 double boat dive at Fish Rock

• 2 shore dives

• PADI Open Water Certification including certificate and card

Prices vary depending on the number of students booked in for the course. With a larger group, the price is reduced.
